Senior Designer, Branding, Marketing, and Recruitment
This is a regular full time recruitment of a vacant position.
Reporting to the Brand Creative Manager, the Senior Designer is responsible for developing creative from concept to completion or stages of the creative process as needed. Working as part of a dynamic team, the Senior Designer will manage projects while operating on a relatively independent basis. The Senior Designer works with the Brand Creative Manager, Marketing team, Copywriters, clients, and others to develop creative strategy and parameters for individual projects. The ability to mentor and support more junior staff is essential.
To be well suited to the role you will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
• A degree in design (or related fields) and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• A basic understanding of client business is needed to conceptualize effectively.
• Strong customer focus.
• Enthusiastic and effective as a team member with strong understanding of organizational goals and values.
• Extensive prepress knowledge and technical knowledge of offset printing with a good technical understanding of designing for the web.
This is a regular full-time position working on campus for 37.5 hours per week with a recruitment range that starts at $52,714 per annum. The University is also pleased to offer a comprehensive health benefits and pension package.
