Job Posting Status - Descriptions

OPEN

The posting is open for applicant submissions until the closing date as indicated on each individual posting.

SCREENING

After the closing date, each candidate’s application is reviewed during this stage to determine the suitability between their qualifications and the criteria required for the position.

INTERVIEWING

Throughout this stage of the competition, the hiring committee conducts interviews with those candidates selected from the applicant pool.

HIRING

An offer of employment is extended to the successful candidate.  Unsuccessful candidates, who have been interviewed, will be informed of the outcome of the recruitment.

COMPLETED

The specific posting has been filled.
