Workplace Wellness

You might be asking yourself, "What exactly is Workplace Wellness?"   Workplace Wellness refers to an organization's ability to assist and support employees in establishing and maintaining healthier lifestyles. It can include increasing employee awareness on health topics and the available resources in their workplace and community, and/or establishing policies that support health-related objectives.

Royal Roads University believes in health promotion, early intervention practices and employee participation that maximizes employee wellbeing.  It recognizes the importance of reducing risks to employees' health and wellness through safe work practices, healthy work environments and offering programs/events which give employees the tools they need to feel, think and live healthier. Events such as Wellness Fairs, Lunch 'n Learn workshops and this resource page all provide the opportunity, support and encouragement needed for employees to actively participate in improving their health.
