Associate Vice President, Human Resources
The Associate Vice-President, Human Resources is a key position in the University’s senior management team providing strong leadership and support for enterprise wide human resource policies, programs, planning, reporting and operations functions of the University.
Reporting directly to the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer and working with the Executive Team, the AVP HR provides senior level advice, guidance and direction on all human resources matters that shape the experience and engagement of our diverse communities of Royal Roads University and support the achievement of the University’s short-term tactical and long-range strategic goals through the development of sound human resource policies and programs, efficient human resource processes, and ensuring a high standard of internal alignment. with the mission, vision, and goals of the University.
