Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately respond to program and admissions inquiries within agreed time frames
  • Calculate Grade Point Average (GPA) based on international transcripts using established procedure
  • Accurately process applications and create records on student enrollment database within agreed time frames
  • Correspond with recruitment partners and sales managers regarding submitted applications
  • Conduct data entry to ensure students’ records are meticulously maintained on student enrolment database and university student enrolment system
  • Assists in preparation and collection of pre-arrival information
  • Ensure the Team Lead Admissions Assessment and the Admissions Managers are aware of any potential agent, Centre or market issues to be able to feedback to all relevant staff
  • Identify opportunities to continually enhance the Admissions processes and improve working practices
  • Performs other duties relevant to the effectiveness of the team as directed by the Team Lead Admissions Assessment
  • Liaise with Study Group recruitment staff to support agent relationship targets and optimize conversion
  • Proactively seek and maintain accurate product knowledge of all Center and University programs
  • Assist with and participate in Study Group recruitment staff, Study Group partner agents and students visits
  • Participate in the Admissions meetings and any other meetings as required
  • Maintain superior customer service with students, university admissions staff, ISC staff, Study Group recruitment staff and Study Group partner agents
  • Perform other duties relevant to the effectiveness of the team as directed by the Team Lead Admissions Assessment


  • A relevant undergraduate degree and some related work experience in a post-secondary environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Well-developed work ethic, an aptitude for detailed work and accuracy, with the ability to perform mathematical calculations with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong research, reporting and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, problem solve and exercise good judgment
  • Skilled at building and maintaining positive, cooperative, and service-oriented relationships, where diversity of situations and people are routinely encountered
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information effectively
  • Ability to work independently or in a high-performance team with minimal supervision
  • Be a disciplined self-starter, with a strong service ethic
  • Demonstrates an ability to identify and take initiative when appropriate, and when to escalate questions or emerging issues
  • Demonstrates a positive, professional and engaging approach to work, and the work place
  • A personal working style that fits in a positive, team-focused, exciting and growing workplace
  • Technically proficient in the use Microsoft Office programs specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to easily adapt to new software and systems

An ideal candidate would also possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Fluent in second language preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of North America and International educational systems at the post-secondary and graduate levels
  • Higher education advising, registration and/or admissions experience
  • Enrolment management database systems experience
