He/she presents a professional front-line image and facilitates communication between the CS office and their various constituents, most importantly, students in CS programs to ensure that all parties feel well served with needs met. He/she has a primary responsibility as the first point of contact for all departmental inquiries via the phone, fax, email and Internet and must respond/re-direct all inquiries in a respectful, friendly and timely manner – within one business day. This involves clearly and effectively conveying information, answering inquiries and decision-making, as necessary with both external and internal associates, facilitators, stakeholders, and students of Royal Roads University (RRU) on behalf of the department and the Director.In further support of CS, the Continuing Studies Associate liaises with the finance department to ensure all transactional requirements are effectively managed, with regard to the registration system with support and direction from management.
