Our emphasis is on relevant, applied skills aimed at developing business professionals who are strong communicators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, ethical leaders, globally-aware citizens and effective team members.Associate faculty members play a key role in the delivery of the school’s programs. Our Associate Faculty members bring a scholar-practitioner perspective to their teaching, combining appropriate academic theory with real-world experience. All Associate Faculty positions are limited-term, contract positions. Examines the conceptual framework of accounting along with the accounting cycle and implementation of accrual accounting methods with emphasis on performance measurement and preparation and use of financial statements. ENMN 332: Managerial Accounting Develops the skills required to apply financial information to managerial and entrepreneurial decision making, with emphasis on tracking and managing financial performance. The course explores the value of financial planning in determining potential profit and loss, and considers the limitations of financial data. MGMT 565: International Accounting Tools for Financial Health Considers financial tools and performance measurements that are widely used in both the public and private sectors. The course focuses on tools that are required by both experienced and aspiring leaders, providing opportunities for hands-on application of tools and measurements by course participants. In individual and team projects, students will examine the controls used by organizations. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for teaching at RRU is someone who has experience as a scholar and a practitioner.
