We are specifically looking for Associate Faculty interested in teaching the course ENVR 661 – Cognitive and Cultural Dimension of Global Sustainability being offered in the MEM third residency (pre-residency September 4, 2017 to October 1, 2017; on-campus October 2 – October 20, 2017 and post-residency runs October 21 – November 5, 2017) in the Master of Arts/Science in Environment and Management Program.

Please note - Associate Faculty are not employees; rather, they hold limited-term contracts to teach individual courses in our programs.

Our programs are delivered on-line, blended on-line with on campus residency, and face to face. 

The Master of Arts/Science in Environment and Management Program (MEM) is a two year, interdisciplinary program that combines three intensive three–week on-campus residencies with online learning. This blended-delivery model allows students to complete their degree while continuing to work. The program is designed to enhance strategic decision making in the environmental field.

The ideal candidate for teaching at RRU is someone who is has experience as a scholar and a practitioner.

Requisite qualifications include:

  • A PhD in a related field is preferred
  • Professional experience in a related field is required with expertise that aligns with the focus of the course(s) to which you are applying
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence at the graduate level
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary outcomes-based curriculum
  • Experience teaching in web-based distance education programs
