You will work directly with the international students to provide orientations, campus tours, facilitate classroom time including making announcements in class, provide translations when needed, escorting groups on field trips and cultural activities. You will provide event planning and administrative support to the International Contract Training team. Having sound knowledge of Victoria, the university and its history is an asset. Qualifications: To be well suited to the role you will possess the following qualifications and competencies:A minimum of one year relevant experienceExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsExperience successfully organizing activities and eventsExperience working in a multicultural environmentEnthusiasm for working with students from overseasA valid BC driver’s license in good standing is an assetFluency in spoken Japanese or Korean would be an asset Application submission information: This is a casual, on-call position that will include evenings and weekends.
