You will be the senior IT professional at the University and have direct accountability for the operation of 5 units and a staff of approximately 40 people. IT Services consists of 5 units, Project Planning, Data and Applications, Server, Network and Telecom, Helpdesk and Computer Services and Web Systems. Qualifications: To be well suited to the role you will possess the following qualifications and competencies:Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education and relevant experience.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant positions of progressive responsibility.Excellent working knowledge of technology tools and capabilities.Highly developed leadership and management skills, including project management and budgeting.Strong verbal and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.Post-secondary experience is an asset.In addition to a collegial learning and working community, Royal Roads University offers a comprehensive compensation package, with a starting salary based on qualifications and experience and participation in the College Pension Plan.
