You will lead the project function by working in a team environment with faculty and staff to design, develop, and deliver all components of courses and you will act as the CTET point of contact for your assigned program area for issues related to curriculum. You will provide training to instructors on effective technical and pedagogical use of the online learning environment and liaise with and advise academic and business units with respect to technology-enabled learning. In addition, you will research, write, and present on the latest trends and issues in pedagogy/andragogy, and technology. Qualifications: Graduate degree in educational psychology, educational technology, distance education or a related fieldMinimum three years’ experience in designing and delivering online courses preferably in a post-secondary environmentExperience working on teams with technical professionals and facultyDemonstrated project management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to research and/or create innovative solutionsStrong instructional and presentation skills (online and face-to-face)Ability to work to deadlines, juggling multiple priorities and tasksDemonstrated excellence in communication skills, including writing and editingAbility to work as a positive, contributing member of a team in a service-oriented approachStrong computer skills (web applications, other educational technologies, MS Office suite)Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) (e.g.: Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)The following will be considered an asset:Experience working with curriculum and program development in post-secondary academic programmingExperience working with Moodle LMSExperience with program mappingAdvanced skills in designing and facilitating live synchronous sessions (web conferencing, e.g., Blackboard Collaborate, Bluejeans, Adobe Connect, etc.) Application submission information: This is a temporary full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on campus for approximately 13 months, with the possibility of extension dependent on operational need.
