The Learning and Development Advisor plays a lead role on the international contract delivery between faculty, contractors, students and internal and external RRU stakeholders. The Advisor supports the overall international/intercultural contract training vision and contributions of the Professional and Continuing Studies unit by supporting the planning of training and providing personalized follow up with clients, students and faculty. Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field and at least 5-7 years of experience in the areas of client-centered service, program development and administration; or equivalent combination of education & experienceKnowledge and understanding of adult education requirements, principles, methods and processesDemonstrated knowledge and experience in the analysis, design, delivery, implementation and evaluation of learning and development opportunities for adultsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills including presentation skills, technical writing skills and learning technology trends and issuesCulturally sensitive to various overseas markets and multilingual abilities are an assetAbility to operate in an environment of deadlines and multiple prioritiesStrong diplomatic skills and the ability to exercise sound judgmentAbility to liaise effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and maintain a professional approach to working relationships and conflict resolutionAbility to work in a creative and driven, team-based, collaborative environmentExperience managing education or training contracts is requiredDemonstrated project management skillsAdvanced computer skills (including MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Social Media) Application submission information: This is a regular full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.
