In a team environment, learning technologists work on courses and projects to ensure innovative and effective use of technology that delivers high quality learning and teaching experiences for RRU students and faculty. Qualifications: To be well qualified for the role you will require the following qualifications and competencies:Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant field, plus minimum one year relevant combination of skills and experienceStrong web programming skills (html, css, web layout, writing for the web) and general computing skills (MS Office, Dreamweaver, file manipulation, remote access)Attention to detail, highly organized, ability to meet deadlinesProduces quality images, audio and video for a web environmentExperience coordinating projects with a proven ability to establish priorities, identify tasks, coordinate the activities of project participants and report on the status of a projectExperience with the following would be considered an asset:Moodle and Blackboard Collaborate (or similar)PC, Mac, and mobile platformsE-learning trends, issues and technologiesWorks independently, and as a positive contributing member of a team, in a changing and innovative institutional environmentAbility to analyze problems and make sound decisions about a course of action within the scope of the positionContribute to a work environment that is sensitive to the effect of personal language and actions on others.Take a professional approach to maintaining positive relationships and resolving conflict in order to promote a respectful and harmonious work environment.Positive, professional relations with clients and external organizations in order to support University objectives of excellence in service.
