You will report to the School Director, and collaborate with the School Manager and Administrative Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of the programs’ administrative processes, program schedules, budgets and contracts. You will supervise Program Associates within the Program areas.You will work closely with the Administrative Manager in supporting hiring processes, welcoming and orienting new staff, faculty and associate faculty to the Program areas and university. As the Programs Manager you will work closely with the appointed Faculty Business Manager to ensure the financial policies and procedures are followed, budgets are monitored and managed. You she will also support targeted marketing activities as required, including website updates and providing prospects with information. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in administrative management or equivalent education and experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; a graduate degree is preferredExceptional communication and presentation skills, both oral and writtenAbility to foster a cooperative work environmentKnowledge of management principles and practicesEmployee development and performance management skillsStrong leadership capabilitiesKnowledge and understanding of post-secondary business education requirements, principles and proceduresKnowledge and experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and fiscal management principles and proceduresAbility to develop, plan and implement short- and long-range goalsAbility to secure cooperation and commitment from internal and external stakeholdersAbility to make decisions based on financial and economic analysis, while ensuring the university’s best interests are metExperience working in a multi-cultural environment preferred Application submission information: This is a regular full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.
