This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your research, presentation and writing skills. As an RA1 within the Office of Sustainability, you will be expected to:Lead the 2015 RRU Campus Waste AuditMaintain the Sustainability WebsiteCoordinate sustainability events on campus and within the community, in collaboration with internal and external partnersCollect data related to the university’s sustainability performance reporting standardsResearch various topics to create first drafts of reports, notes, and papers as directedPresent information on RRU’s sustainability initiatives at orientation sessionsProvide a first point of contact within the OS for routine information requestsAssist with student-led major projects and case study projects Qualifications: Required Qualifications/Competencies (education, skills and abilities):Excellent organizational and communication abilities,Technically proficient and passionate about creating positive change.Familiar with the implementation and monitoring of corporate sustainability initiatives and techniques to inspire behaviour change would be considered an asset.
