The specific set of applications supported by the role may vary between positions.The Systems Analyst is also responsible for analyzing business requirements, automating business processes, integrating data between systems, developing custom solutions and performing all levels of Quality Assurance (QA) and testing. Qualifications: Must have a University degree or College diploma in a computer related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Application Administrator, Integration Specialist and/or Programmer AnalystDemonstrated experience in supporting, integrating and testing of third-party systemsExperience building functional specifications and coding to prepared specificationsExperience working with complex data structures and must be able to write database queriesFamiliarity with quality assurance techniques (unit, system, integration and performance testing)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation - Able to communicate complex and technical information to others in plain languageKnowledge of IT service management, ITIL, project management, system development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies is preferred Application submission information: This is a regular full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on campus.
